Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about working together, Ayurveda, or where to begin?
You’ll find answers to some of the most common questions below.

  • If you’re new to dusty rose lifestyle, my “Journey to Self” program is often the best place to begin. The program is designed to support deeper connection to yourself through Ayurveda, seasonal living, nervous system support, and sustainable wellness practices that feel grounding and supportive for real life.

Whether you are completely new to Ayurveda or looking to reconnect with practices you may already be familiar with, Journey to Self offers a supportive and approachable space to slow down, reflect, and build a more intentional relationship with your wellbeing.

  • Not at all. Many people come to this work feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, burnt out, curious about more supportive wellness practices, or simply looking for a slower and more intentional way of caring for themselves.

My approach is designed to make Ayurveda feel approachable, realistic, and supportive for modern life — without pressure for perfection or needing to completely change your lifestyle overnight.

  • Ayurveda is a holistic wellness system that originated thousands of years ago. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, Ayurveda looks at the whole person — including lifestyle, stress, digestion, routines, environment, nervous system health, and emotional wellbeing.

At its core, Ayurveda is about creating greater awareness, balance, and connection through supportive daily practices that help you feel more grounded and supported in everyday life.

  • Not at all. While nutrition can be one supportive part of Ayurveda, my work also focuses on nervous system support, seasonal living, restorative practices, daily rhythms, stress management, self-care, and creating sustainable wellness habits that feel realistic for modern life.

Modern Ayurveda is not about perfection or strict rules — it’s about learning to better understand yourself and creating supportive practices that work for your unique life and current season.

Getting Started

  • My work is centered around helping you better understand your patterns, rhythms, lifestyle, and nervous system through practical and sustainable Ayurvedic support.

Depending on the offering, this may include seasonal guidance, reflective practices, wellness education, restorative support, personalized recommendations, and supportive tools that can realistically be integrated into everyday life.

Rather than focusing on perfection or rigid routines, my approach is designed to help you create supportive wellness practices that feel grounding, realistic, and adaptable to your current season of life.

Whether you are completely new to Ayurveda or looking to reconnect with practices you may already be familiar with, Journey to Self offers a supportive and approachable space to slow down, reflect, and build a more intentional relationship with your wellbeing.

  • You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. Many people come to this work during periods of stress, transition, burnout, disconnection, or simply feeling ready for a different way of caring for themselves.

The goal is not to do everything perfectly, but to begin building more supportive awareness, rhythms, and practices over time.

  • Yes. Ayurveda recognizes that every person, family, lifestyle, nervous system, and season of life is different. My work is designed to support your unique needs while helping you better understand what balance and well-being can look like for you personally and within your everyday life.

Offerings such as The Journey to Self provide foundational Ayurveda education and community support, while the Ayurveda Health Assessment offers deeper personalized insight into your unique constitution, patterns, and wellness tendencies. For those seeking more ongoing guidance, the 1:1 and Family Ayurveda Wellness Journeys provide continued support, accountability, reflection, and sustainable lifestyle integration over time.

Rather than offering one-size-fits-all wellness advice, I focus on creating supportive and realistic wellness practices that feel approachable, sustainable, and aligned with your current capacity and season of life.

Many clients continue reconnecting seasonally throughout the year as their routines, stress levels, family dynamics, and wellness needs naturally evolve over time.

  • Yes. Other than my bodywork services, everything I offer is available online, allowing people to connect and work with me from many different locations.

Online support includes my signature offering, The Journey to Self, Ayurveda Health Assessments, ongoing 1:1 seasonal wellness support, and mini programs — all designed to feel approachable, supportive, and adaptable to everyday life.

For those located within my region of British Columbia, in-person bodywork sessions, pop-up clinics, and seasonal wellness events are also available throughout the year.

  • No. Ayurvedic wellness support is intended to complement, not replace, medical care.

My work focuses on lifestyle support, nervous system regulation, wellness education, seasonal living, and supportive daily practices that can work alongside conventional healthcare when appropriate.

Working Together

  • The Journey to Self is my signature group program designed to help people reconnect with themselves through Ayurveda, seasonal living, nervous system support, and supportive wellness practices for modern life.

The program combines education, reflection, practical tools, community support, and personalized integration in a way that feels grounding, approachable, and sustainable for everyday life.

Rather than focusing on perfection or overwhelming lifestyle changes, The Journey to Self is designed to help people build a deeper understanding of themselves and create supportive practices they can continue returning to through different seasons of life.

  • The Journey to Self includes a combination of pre-recorded Ayurveda philosophy videos, live group calls, reflective practices, and ongoing support throughout the experience.

This structure allows people to move through the material in a flexible and realistic way while still feeling connected, supported, and part of a shared experience and community.

  • The Journey to Self opens for enrollment 2–3 times per year, with upcoming intakes shared on my website and social media pages well in advance.

Once enrollment opens, you can register early or join anytime throughout the intake month without feeling behind or missing important content. Many people appreciate signing up early so they have time to receive the printed workbook, explore the introduction materials, and begin setting intentions before the program officially begins.

If registration is currently closed, there are still supportive ways to begin your Ayurveda journey with dusty rose lifestyle through free YouTube content, mini programs, Ayurveda Health Assessments, seasonal wellness product bundles, and ongoing 1:1 support.

You can also join the waitlist or reserve your space early for the next intake of The Journey to Self.

  • Not at all. While many people join with little or no experience with Ayurveda, others come to the program looking to reconnect with practices they may already be familiar with in a more grounded, supportive, and sustainable way.

Many participants are also caregivers, healers, yoga teachers, wellness practitioners, or deeply supportive people in their personal and professional lives who spend so much time caring for others that they begin to feel disconnected from themselves.

The Journey to Self is designed to meet people where they are while encouraging deeper self-awareness, reflection, nervous system support, and more intentional connection to everyday life. Rather than simply gathering more wellness information, the focus is on creating practices and rhythms that can be genuinely integrated and lived.

The Journey to Self: A Gentle Guide to Living with Ayurveda

  • The Ayurveda Health Assessment is a personalized foundational wellness experience designed to help you better understand your unique Ayurvedic constitution, health patterns, nervous system tendencies, lifestyle imbalances, and overall well-being.

Together, we explore your Prakruti (natural constitution), Vikruti (current imbalances), and supportive wellness practices through a holistic and Ayurvedic lens.

This offering is best suited for those seeking deeper self-understanding, personalized wellness insight, and a strong foundation for long-term wellness support.

  • The 1:1 Ayurveda Wellness Journey is a personalized month-long wellness support experience designed to help you integrate supportive lifestyle changes gradually over time.

Rather than focusing on a single consultation session, this experience includes multiple virtual sessions, ongoing support, reflection, accountability, and sustainable wellness practices aligned with your unique needs and current season of life.

Many clients continue with seasonal wellness journeys throughout the year for ongoing support and deeper long-term integration.

  • The Family Ayurveda Wellness Journey is designed to support children, caregivers, and overall family wellness through a holistic and Ayurvedic lens.

Together, we explore supportive routines, nervous system support, digestion, sleep, stress, emotional well-being, transitions, and realistic wellness practices that feel sustainable within everyday family life.

Family wellness work is approached gently and without judgment. One parent/caregiver is welcome to lead the process even if the entire household is not directly participating.

  • Yes. Many clients continue with ongoing seasonal wellness support throughout the year as their routines, stress levels, developmental stages, and wellness needs naturally evolve over time.

Ongoing support may include seasonal check-ins, continued Wellness Journeys, family support, or deeper personalized integration following an Ayurveda Health Assessment or The Journey to Self group coaching experience.

Personalized 1:1 Support Options

  • The seasonal wellness bundles are curated collections of supportive Ayurvedic products and seasonal tools designed to help you care for yourself throughout different times of the year.

I often describe them as a “holistic first aid kit” for the home — supportive wellness tools that encourage slower, more intentional self-care and seasonal living practices throughout the year.

  • Yes. Seasonal subscriptions are available for those wanting ongoing wellness support throughout the year. Subscribers receive thoughtfully curated seasonal products along with savings compared to individual bundle purchases.

Seasonal Wellness Product Bundles

  • Many people come to this work already feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. My offerings are designed to feel supportive and adaptable to real life — not like another source of pressure or perfection.

Programs such as The Journey to Self include flexible pre-recorded content that can be explored at your own pace, while 1:1 support can be scheduled in ways that work with your lifestyle and current capacity.

Ayurveda also encourages us to slow down, become more intentional with our energy, and reconnect with what truly supports our wellbeing. Often, small supportive shifts create more space, clarity, and balance over time.

  • I believe Ayurveda can offer supportive tools and awareness for almost anyone, especially those feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, depleted, or ready for a more intentional approach to wellness and everyday life.

This work is not about perfection or changing everything overnight. We move at a pace that feels supportive and realistic for your unique needs, goals, and current season of life.

Often, the hardest part is simply beginning. Small, consistent shifts can create meaningful change over time.

  • Yes. Payment plans are available for The Journey to Self. Options include a one time payment option and both a 3-month and 6-month option to help make the program more accessible and supportive for different financial situations.

If you have questions about payment options before registering, you are always welcome to reach out.

  • As a small independent business, I ask that clients commit thoughtfully before booking or registering for offerings.

Due to the time, energy, preparation, and limited availability involved in my work, most services, programs, and offerings are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased. Please take time to review details carefully and reach out with any questions before booking.

I deeply value mutual respect, clear communication, and honouring the energy that goes into creating supportive spaces and offerings for the community.
